Hello and welcome to our September 2011 newsletter.
This month we have some very exciting news to share with you. In the last week of August, whilst attending the Microsoft Australia Partner conference on the Gold Coast, Calvert Technologies were awarded the Microsoft Australia Partner of the Year Award for 2011 in the Small Business Specialist category! This places us as the best in Australia from amongst some 12,000 other Microsoft partners.
For the last 5 years we have been a finalist so it’s fantastic to have a win – what’s more we are the first South Australian company to ever win a Microsoft Partner Award! The award was for our design and implementation of a hybrid on-premises/cloud solution for one of our clients, utilising the latest Microsoft technologies and delivering productivity, performance and reliability improvements to the business. We’ll be sure to continue to develop and implement award winning solutions for all of our clients and will be entering both the Australian and Worldwide awards next year.
What this means is with all the talk around at the moment, the “cloud” is very real and can make a dramatic difference to your business if implemented correctly. We have many years experience with hybrid solutions and have developed systems for businesses from 3 to 300+ staff, and located everywhere from the city, to metropolitan, regional and remote locations.
So if you’re wondering what might be suitable for your business, to solve any number of desires from reducing cost, improving performance, remote workers, being green, disaster resilience, better security or simply replacing old technology please contact us for a no obligation discussion. You may be surprised how simple an award winning solution can be to implement for your business.
We wish you every success for the month ahead.

While that may be a couple of years away, it never hurts to start assessing your options so the eventual move to newer Microsoft OS will be as smooth and efficient as possible.
