Virus Warning - Swen
Over the last few days many people have been receiving an email that looks like it’s from Microsoft asking them to install a “patch” that is attached to the message. The message may be titled “Current Microsoft Security Upgrade” (or similar – full details available here).
Please ensure you do not open this message and certainly do not run the attached file.
For the record, Microsoft never email patches or updates to end users (click here).
If you are unsure please call us on 08 8443 7111.
This is probably a good time too to advise that if you ever get an email telling you to delete files that look like teddy bears, or telling you that Microsoft, IBM, AOL or some other major organisation “doesn’t know about this virus yet” these are typically hoax messages and should not be forwarded to other users. If in doubt please refer to us first (by phone or email antivirus@calvert.net.au), or click here for details
If you have opened the above mentioned email and have run the “patch” please advise us as soon as possible so we can arrange to repair the damage done. This could include loss of all data files and require a complete system rebuild!
F-Secure Anti-Virus with definition updates from September 18 will catch and disinfect this virus.

We have been playing with a pre-release copy and have been extremely impressed with its features, performance, reliability and manageability.
